This brilliant ad describes the features of Chrome, the Google browser.

This is the review I left at Amazon for Crush It!, by Gary Vaynerchuck:
I had great expectations for this book, being a fan of Gary’s style. I must say that Crush It! doesn’t disappoint. Gary’s tone gets you energised from the first page. He really believes in his message, and it comes across. He guides us in creating our own personal brand. If you have a passion (as most of us do), you must follow it, work like hell, and the results will come. But you must read the book to know all the details, from the man himself. Ah, and it’s small book. I finished it in two evenings. The essentials are all there, with no beating aroud the bush. A must.
Storytelling is a fine way to grab people’s attention, be it in a blog post, be it in social life. Stories are what get people interested in what you have to say (or sell). It’s a way to engage them, and make them read on or want to know more. A great example is this commercial from Canal +.
Wonderful inspiring talk by Sir Ken Robinson, author of “The Element”, on the issues of creativity, inovation, and that special something we all have, but few of us use. I’m getting the book.
Gary Vaynerchuk at the Web 2.0 Conference in New York. He talks about personal branding, and about why you should JUST do what you love and work at it! Contains strong language. Cool!
Amazing what can be acomplished today. It makes you think what will be possible in the near future.
I read Fred’s post, got curious about IDEO, added the book
to my reading list, and found this engaging talk by their CEO Tim Brown.
The presentations part of codebits is now closed.
The ones I enjoyed the most were:
As last year, I didn’t stay for the coding contest part, but I sure will be there tomorrow for the final presentation of the projects. It’s refreshing and fun to see what these brilliant people come up with each time.
Here’s the live feed from the event. Take a look. You never know what might happen.
