Web Design 101: Photoshop, by Anton Peck. In Digital Web Magazine
“While it may be second nature to some, there is no denying that Photoshop has a fierce learning curve. If you’re a coder taking your first tentative steps into the world of design, or you’re a designer looking to switch to a more professional application, Anton Peck has some words of wisdom on getting started with the perennial web design favorite”.
Hey there my friend!
I don’t know if you know this, but when it comes to webdesign, my tool of choice is Fireworks.
I honestly hate Photoshop when it comes to webdesign layouts!
The workflow in Fireworks is much more intuitive (the aplication was developed for that purpose, right!?) and the file exports are much better!
Photoshop is a great app, for photography work and image manipulation, not for webdesign layout!
Thanks for the tips, I love finding out about new tricks
I have always wondered about this. Nice to see other designers feel the same way. Take care
